Where Do Funds Go?
This fund provides financial support to organizations and projects that embody Pete & Toshi Seeger's values & vision.
Archiving Project. The Seegers' children currently hold a large quantity of materials that document the work that Pete & Toshi Seeger carried out for nearly 75 years. The Carry In On Fund is currently working with the Seeger's daughter, Tinya, to develop a plan for supporting the initial archiving of her parents' papers to prepare them for their future home at The Smithsonian Institution.
Organizations. The Seegers were deeply involved in a host of organizations and causes during their lifetimes. This fund shines a light and assists groups carrying forward their important work. Some of the organizations doing the work that the Seegers were strongly committed to include:
