Tony Biggin
Tony Biggins is an English Quaker composer. He has collaborated with an English Quaker lyricist Alec Davison on a number of oratorio, the most well known of which is The Gates of Greenham, which was inspired by the women's encampment at Greenham Common, a peace encampment protesting against cruise missles loaded with nuclear bombs. The encampment took place from 1981 to 2000 reaching its peak in 1983-4.
