Tending the Fire
Healing Songs for a Wounded World Join us for a special evening with beloved activist singer, Annie Patterson, to help us all enter this New Year with hope and courage.
Annie has been using music to lift hearts & spur resilience for over forty years. Accompanying herself on banjo and guitar, Annie performs songs from a vast song repertoire ranging from Appalachian banjo tunes to Celtic ballads, jazz standards, and moving covers of contemporary folksongs. Her energy, presence, musicianship and beautiful voice bring out the healing qualities of the songs she sings. As one of the creators of the popular songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again, Annie has worked tirelessly to make the world a better place through song.
