Earl Robinson
Robinson (1910-1991) was an American singer songwriter and political activist. He was a member of the Communist Party from the 1930's to the 1950's. He composed music for a number of Hollywood films before being blacklisted.
Some of his most famous songs include "Joe Hill", "Black & White" (about Brown v. Board of Education) and Paul Robeson's hit "The House We Live In".
