The Copper Family
The Copper Family are a family of traditional a cappella English singers. They were first "discovered" in 1898 by Kate Lee, one of the found of the Folk Song Society (now called the English Folk Dance & Song Society). They have a unique style of a cappella singing.
The family originated from the village of Rottingdean near Brighton, England in County Sussex. The nucleus of the family now resides in the nearby village of Peacehaven.
